RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Rosalind Sheehan has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Beloved wife ofthe late David "Duke" Sheehan. Loving mother of David (Erin), Paul (Lesley), James (Laura), and Michael (Shannon) Sheehan; daughter of the late Russell "Blackie" and late Rosetta Granato. Adored grandmother of Michaelena, Ella, Jimmy, Rhys, Liam, Jude, Nora, Declan, Anna, Lucia, and Jack; dear sister of Donna Taylor, Michele (Patrick) Conroy, Deborah (the late Joseph) Spitalli, and Michael (Iris) Granato. Sister-in-law of John (Nim) Sheehan and the late Gloria Zolkiewicz. Aunt to many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Rosalind to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Rosalind Sheehan and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rosalind Sheehan.
