CHICAGO DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF DION BOYD
WHEREAS, Chicago Deputy Police Chief Dion Boyd was called home by the GREAT I AM on a day we all hoped to spend additional time with him. Deputy Chief Boyd a man well-known for his integrity, expertise in law enforcement, illuminous smile and deep love for people; responded to the call of his Lord and Savior, "Come for I have designed a place specifically for thee; a mansion the size of two large cities where you will find photographs of the lives that you touched." Instantaneously, tears began to stream from the eyes of Chicago Deputy Police Chief Boyd as his soul connected with his Heavenly Father. The Angels stood by the entrance gate and shouted with a voice of triumph, Glory to the King, Dion made it home!
WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Boyd spent incalculable hours examining some of the most challenging cases and took time to counsel anyone affected by the injustices of that have tried its very best to trample our city. He served with such due diligence and fervor that many nights he would nol get the proper amount of sleep nor the nourishment for his body . Chicago Deputy Police Chief Dion Boyd was a man of his word and without wavering he remained consistent throughout his days. WHEREAS; outside of him serving faithfully with the Gity of Chicago Police Department or engaging in uplifting conversation with elected officials, clergy, community residents and youth - Chicago Deputy Police Chief Dion Boyd was a close friend, neighbor and member of a family that loved and respected him unconditionally.
