RESOLUTION HONORING THE DEATH OF CHARLES J. KODIS
WHEREAS, Charles J. "Charlie" Kodis , had passed away on November 9, 2015;
WHEREAS, Charles J. Kodis was the loving husband of Margaret "Margie", and the fond father of Chris (Charlene), Michael, and Cathy (Jim) Mozerka: and
WHEREAS, Charlie was also the grandfather of David, Daniel, Jessica (Mike) McClure, and Brittany, and the very proud great-grandfather to Matthew; and
WHEREAS, Charlie was the brother of Virginia Mack, and an uncle and friend to many;
WHEREAS, Charlie was a very proud Korean Air Force Veteran, who served his country with loyalty, dedication, and commitment, continuing to honor this service as a member of the VFW Bridgeport Post #5079, American Legion Post #231, and the Canaryville Veterans Association; and
WHEREAS, Charlie was a resident ofthe 11th Ward Bridgeport community, where he was a wonderful friend to many, and will be sorely missed by all that knew him; and
WHEREAS, With his passing, there is hope that his family and friends will cherish the memories of his life; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago do hereby extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Charles J. "Charlie" Kodis; and
