HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL ESPENSES OF INJURED POLICE OFFICERS AND FIREFIGHTERS
Submitted herewith are payments covering hospital and medical expenses of the Police and/or the Fire Departments, injured in their performance of Duty which have been approved by the respective Departments.

ORDERED, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to issue payments in conformity with the schedule herein set forth, to physicians, hospitals, nurses or other individuals, in settlement for hospital, medical and nursing services rendered to the injured members of the Police Department and/or the Fire Department herein named, provided such members of the Police Department and/or Fire Department shall enter into an agreement in writing with the City of Chicago to the effect that, should it appear that any of said members of the Police Department and/or Fire Department have received any sum of money from the party whose negligence caused such injury, or have instituted proceedings against such party for the recovery of damage on account of such injury or medical expenses, then in that event the City shall be reimbursed by such member of the Police Department and/or the Fire Department ou...
