RESOLUTION HONORING GEORGETTE BEATRICE NEITA ON HER RETIREMENT FROM THE CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, After 29 years of service, Georgette Beatrice Neita is retiring on February 29, 2016 from the Chicago Public Schools; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Council have been informed of this milestone by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Georgette Beatrice Neita began her career as a clerk at McClellan in
1987; and
WHEREAS, Georgette Beatrice Neita has been a dedicated clerk for 29 years, setting high standards for both work and dress at McClellan; and
WHEREAS, Along with her duties as at McClellan Georgette Beatrice Neita spent much time mentoring and guiding students and staff members with whatever assistance they were in need of; and
WHEREAS, Georgette Beatrice Neita has two children, Angelo Brown and Tangi Brown, and two dogs Mini and Max she loves dearly; and
WHEREAS, Georgette Beatrice Neita will be honored by her co-workers, friends, and family at a celebration in her honor on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at McClellan School; and
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this fourteenth day of December, 2016, hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to Georgette Beatrice Neita on her retirement from the Chicago Public Schools with best wishes for continued success in all of her future endeavors; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Georgette Beatrice Neita.
