RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Manuel Lopez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 95,

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Tliompson. Aldcmian of the 11th Ward; and :'
WHEREAS, Manuel Lopez, Beloved husband ofthe late Dolly Lopez; loving father of Jacqueline'(John Tucker) Lpez; cherished grandfather of Noel;(Spencer White) Perez-White and Gabriel Becerra; adored great-grand father of Liliana Rose, Serenity, Virginia, Grace and ■ rT \ Daniel; dearest brother and brother-in-law to many; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Manuel was a decorated Army World War II veteran; and \ >■
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Mancul to his family
' 'members,Triends ariS"all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will
never forget; now, therefore / , -
BE IT RESOLVED, That wc, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty sixth or May 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Manuel Lopez arid extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family 6f Manuel Lopez.
