City Council July 21st, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Steve J. Novak has been called to eternal life by'the wisdom of God at the age of 66 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and.
WHEREAS, Steve J. Novak; Beloved life companion of Sandy Susnis; loving father of Kim (Arthur) Baker; devoted papa of Colin and Ryan Baker; dear brother of Daniel (Gina) Novak, Michael (Cathy) Novak, and the late Deborah (Robert) Such; dear uncle and friend of many. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Lorraine Trumbly Novak; and
WHEREAS, Steve was bom and raised, longtime resident ofthe South Side of Chicago-Canary ville neighborhood, of Alsip, IL, for nearly twenty years; Steve was a printer and longtime owner of Creative Printing. Steve is also survived by many grateful bartenders; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Steve to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of July 2021, do. hereby express our sorrow on the death of Steve J. Novak and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
