RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Emilia M. Sarna to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Emilia M. Sarna nee Palenik, age 92, beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of John (Deborah), Christine & Charles. Dear grandmother of Christopher (Caitlyn), Julianne (Ken) Russell, Bradley (Kerstin) & Kathryn. Great-grandmother of Kenneth, Alexis and Koryn Russell & Harper Sarna. Fond sister of Johanna Crook & many deceased brothers & sisters. Also many nieces & nephews. Emilia M. Sarna leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of March, 2015, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Emilia M. Sarna and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family Emilia M. Sarna.
