ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing all of the B3-2 Community Shopping District, as shown on Map 5-1 in the area bounded by:
North Western Avenue, a line 240 feet South of West Wabansia Avenue, the alley west and parallel to North Western Avenue and a point 264 feet south of West Wabansia Avenue.
To those of B2-3 Neighborhood Mixed-Use District
SECTION 2. This ordinance takes effect after its passage and approval.

In accordance with the requirements for an Amendment to the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, please be informed that on or about April 28, 2015 , the undersigned will file an application for a change in zoning from B3-2 Community Shopping District to B2-3 Neighborhood Mixed-Use District for the property located at 1632 North Western, Chicago, Illinois.
The Applicant intends to construct a 3 story, three (3) dwelling unit building with a basement and three (3) car garage. The footprint of the three story building will be 20 feet 4 inches by 76 feet 11 inches in size and the height of the building shall be 38 feet high, as defined by City Zoning Code.
The Applicant is Kevin Newell who resides at 5617 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60646.
