ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

Section 1.      The name of that portion of "Avenue O" running North and South at 3432 East from 79^th Street to Ewing Avenue is changed to "South Lake Shore Drive."

Section 2.      The Commissioner of Transportation is authorized and directed to re-sign that portion of the street set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance as provided in that Section, and to take whatever other actions are necessary to complete the change of the above-referenced portion of the street name on maps, plats and other official publications.

Section 3.      This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
