RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Michael Nykiel to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Michael M. Nykiel, age 65 Ret. CPD, Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Tagliere); loving brother of Mary Ann (John) Josephson and Edie (the late Thomas) Cutrara; dear nephew of Alice Kowalski; proud uncle of 9 nieces and nephews; great uncle to 21 and great-great uncle to 5; dear friend to many. Michael Nykiel leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of July, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael Nykiel and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
