RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Laima M Marchewka has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Laima M. Marchewka, nee Giedraitis, beloved wife of the late Rich: loving mother of Dawnmarie (Bob) Koska and Rich (Denise) Marchewka: loving grandmother of Heather, Danielle and Troy Koska, and Talia and Kylie Marchewka, Laima and Rich owned Joe and Rich Grocery in Bridgeport for over 40 years; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Laima to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Laima M. Marchewka and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Laima M. Marchewka.
