MEMORIAL RESOLUTION HONORING THE LIFE OF KENNETH ALLEN MACK, JR.
WHEREAS, Kenneth Allen Mack, Jr., father, grandfather, brother; uncle, and son, quietly departed this life on July 17, 2021 after 48 years; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of Kenneth's passing by the Honorable Emma Mitts, Alderman of the 37th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born in Chicago on.August 19,1972 to the union of Geneva Mack and Kenneth Allen Mack, Sr., Kenneth was one of three children; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth accepted Christ in his life at an early age under the leadership ofthe late Rev. William Jenkins, Sr. and he remained committed to his faith all his life; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth attended John W. Garvy Elementary School and William Howard Taft High School; after his schooling, he began working at the Hyatt Regency Hotel where he worked in valet parking for many years; and
WHEREAS, A kind and generous man with a joyful personality that kept everyone laughing, Kenneth loved his friends and family unconditionally; there was never a dull moment when he was around; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth was a multi-talented man- everyone who knew him knew he could run like a track star, he was a talented self-taught barber, and he could iron and wash clothes better than any dry cleaner; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth is preceded in death by three grandparents, Will Ella Golden, John Wesley Golden, and Andrew Mack; he leaves to cherish his life: mother, Geneva Mack; father, Kenneth Allen Mack, Sr.; grandmother, Dorothy Mack; children, Kenneth Mack III, Kenya Renee, Tatianna, Nicholas, Geneva Maria - Levi David;:grandchildren, Aniya, Ariyah, and Tristan; four sisters, Jacqueline Golden, Lakisha Sanders, Katrina Mack, and Nicole Rice (Reginald); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth will be missed by friends, family, and all who knew him; now, therefore
