WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Xavier David Quiroz to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, With broken hearts we say good bye to Xavier David Quiroz whose life was tragically taken away on Sunday morning December 27, 2020, nine days after his 13th birthday. Xavier was the cherished son of Jennifer Simon and much loved and terribly missed big brother of Anthony and Joseph. Adored grandson of Dennis and Elizabeth Simon and Irma and Marcello Martinez. He will always be remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates and friends for his cute smile and kind heart. Xavier was a seventh grader at Kinzie Elementary School where he greatly enjoyed playing on the basketball team at school and also loved being a member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Youth Group; and
WHEREAS, Xavier David Quiroz is much loved by all who knew him. May his pure and gentle soul rest in the arms of our Lord; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty seventh day of January 2021, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Xavier David Quiroz and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
