RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Rosemarie Bastien to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Rosemarie Bastien (nee Cox), Beloved wife of Norman J. Jr.; Loving mother of Theresa (Darrin) Oldham and Joseph (Michelle) Bastien; Beloved daughter ofthe late Clarence and Theresa Cox; Proud Nana of Bryan, Randy, Michael, Gianna, Nicolas and Angeline; Dear sister of Bertha (the late Leonard) Reinhart, William (Shirley) and Clarence Jr. (Loretta) Cox and Margaret (Richard) Stajszczak; Fond sister-in-law of Francis "Butch" and Sharon Bastien. Rosemarie Bastien leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this tenth day of May, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Rosemarie Bastien and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family Rosemarie Bastien.
