WHEREAS, Mary C. Bezinovich has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 91 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mary C. Bezinovich, nee Sullivan, lifetime resident of the South and Southwest sides of Chieago~of Clearing neighborhood for over 30 years, formerly of Bridgeport and Canaryville; dearly beloved wife of the late Ned Bezinovich, devoted mother of Ned (Kathy) Bezinovich, William (Marilyn) Bezinovich, and Thomas Bezinovich; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Steven) Edlavitch, Adam (Michelle), Laura, Daniel, Holly, and Nicholas Bezinovich; fond great grandmother of Benjamin, Sadie, Elise, and Ruby; dear sister of Michael Joseph (Dell) O'Sullivan and Patrick (Margaret) Sullivan, late John (Carmel) (late Helen) Sullivan, late Catherine Therese (late Leonard) Swatkowski, and the late Richard (late Joanne) Sullivan; dear step sister of Vera (late Warner) Dahlstrom; loving aunt of many; preceded in death by parents, Michael and Catherine Riordan Sullivan; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Mary C. Bezinovich to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth of May 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mary C. Bezinovich and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary 0. Bezinovich.
