RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gloria Moya has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 68 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Gloria Moya; beloved wife ofthe late Ralph Pinto; loving mother of Richard (Diana) Moya, Melissa Pinto, Ralph (Donna) Pinto, Jay (Destiny) Moya, Jennifer Moya and Gloria Moya; cherished grandmother of Nicholas (Blanca), Gina, Anyssa, Ralph, David, Erin, Victoria, Julian, Sophia, Eli, Nevaeh, Narissa and Rafeal; adored great-grandmother of Anthony, Alana, Julianna, Nick Jr. and Angelo; devoted daughter of the late Manuel and late Jesusita Moya; dear sister of Manuel Moya, Roel Moya, Miroslava (Wayne) Rachuy, Rosemary (Jerry) Morales, Abelardo Moya, Jose Moya, Oscar (Rosa) Moya, late Juan, late Erasmo and the late Carlos Moya; fond aunt of many; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Gloria to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Gloria Moya and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
