RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, At the May 24, 2017 meeting of the City Council of the City of Chicago, a resolution (Clerk Tracking Number R2017-419) passed as part ofthe Agreed Calendar; and

WHEREAS, Rule 41 of the Rules of Order and Procedure of the City Council provides in part that the Agreed Calendar is limited to "resolutions concerning deaths, congratulations, ceremonial and non-controversial matters"; and

WHEREAS, Following passage of R2017-419, it was discovered that the resolution contained a substantive aspect, thus making it procedurally inappropriate for consideration as part of the Agreed Calendar; and

WHEREAS, It is appropriate as a matter of proper process to correct this issue; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That resolution R2017-419 is hereby repealed.
