SUBSTITUTE
ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. This Seetion applies to an ordinance passed by the City Couneil on December 4, 2008 regarding a metered parking transaction and associated concession agreement and published in special pamphlet form (for purposes of this Section, the "Meter Ordinance"). Any provision ofthe Meter Ordinance not amended by this Section or otherwise amended shall remain in full force and effect. Section 5(b) of the Meter Ordinance is hereby amended as follows:
With regard to the Human Infrastructure Fund referred to in subparagraph 5(b)(ii) of the Meter Ordinance, the amount of Ten Million One Hundred and Fifty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($10,159,000) is hereby appropriated from that fund for expenditures under the programs identified in Section 2 qLthisordinance, notwithstanding any provision of that subparagraph to the contrary.

SECTION 2. The funds appropriated pursuant to Section 1 of this ordinance shall be allocated to departments and programs in the indicated approximate amounts as follows:

The authority to expend the funds allocated in this Section 2 of this ordinance shall continue without regard to fiscal year and without the need for renewed appropriation, until those funds have been spent.
SECTION 3. Following due passage and approval, this ordinance shall be in force and effect on January 1, 2013.
