City Council June 17th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Michael Ira Matthew Schiml has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D, Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Michael Ira Matthew Schiml, beloved husband to Sevila Yee-Schiml, father to his three adoring children Michael (20), Madison (18), and Mathew (15); He is also the devoted son of Deanna L. and the late Michael L. Schiml and dear brother of Lori Shepherd and Lisa (Rick) Shelton; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Michael to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael Ira Matthew Schiml and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Michael Ira Matthew Schiml.
