ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO

Section 1. Chapter 7-28 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck-through and inserting the language underscored, as follows:

7-28-785 Collection bins.

(o) Any person who violates any provision ofthis section shall be fined $1,000 for the first offense and $2,000 for any second or subsequent offense, not less that $200 and not more than $1,000 for each offense. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect following due passage and approval.
