BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 10-20-430 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Commissioner of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to exempt Paulina Meat Market of 3503 N Hermitage Avenue from the provisions requiring barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and egress to parking facilities for Premise Address.

I am respectfully requesting a commissioner's authority letter exempting Paulina Meat Market of 3503 N Hermitage Avenue from being required to place barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and egress to parking facilities for this address. The new owners have indicated that they plan to use this access as it has been used in the past, and that no changes to the current use are planned. Please issue the letter once an ordinance to this effect has been introduced at the City Council meeting September ...
