WHEREAS, Mariann Costello has been called to eternal life by the wisdonrof God at thereof
68 to her eternal reward; and : -
' WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mariann Costello, loving daughter ofthe late John and the late Margaret -Arge"
Costello; cherished sister of Thomas and Cho Costel lo; doting aunt and godmother of John
■ Costello; also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; dear friend to so many
wonderful people of Canaryvillc; and {J""-
AVTlEREAS^ManannAvas a lifelong resident of South Side of Chicago-Canaryville ;
^neighborhood, Mariann was proud of her Catholic faith, and longtime parishioner of St: Gabriel
Parish: She was a 1971 graduate of Mercy High School: Former employee of Mercy Hospital
and BCBS. and retired in:-20 II after many years of dedicated employment; and s -

members, friends and all>who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of * Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of November 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mariann Costello and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
