WHEREAS, Walter L. "Wally" McLain has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Walter "Wally" L. McLain, age 60, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, passed away at his home in Cedar Lake, IN. Beloved son of the late Richard and Afreda, Dear brother of Cecelia, Richard, Wayne, Patrick, Anna, Kelly and Mary, Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, and his loyal canine companions Hunter and Butch; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Walter L. McLain to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth day of September 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Walter L. McLain and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wally McLain.
