RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called James Loughney to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, James "Red" Loughney, Retired C.F.D. District Chief; beloved husband of Mary (nee Fucherino); loving father of Jennifer (Wayne) Bebinger, Martin Lt. C.P.D. (Marie), Maribeth and James Sgt. C.P.D. (Colleen), cherished grandfather of James, Michael, Patrick, Martin, Fiona, Tristan, Sean, Maeve and the late Aidan; dear brother of Maureen Ret. C.F.D., Rita (Michael) Swift, the late Martin, late John (late Nancy), late Rosemary (late Eugene "Lefty" Ret. C.F.D.) Waliczek, late Helen (John "Sean") Gardiner; caring brother-in-law of Lillian (Richard) Skrezyna, the late Carmella (late John) Kubat and the late Rose Bertucci; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. James Loughney leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-seventh day of June, 2018, hereby express our sorrow on the death of James Loughney and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
