City Council June 17th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Angelina "Connie" Rodriguez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 90 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Angelina "Connie" Rodriguez, beloved wife of the late Benjamin; loving mother of Mary Rodriguez; cherished aunt to Phyllis "Sweet" Richardson, Gloria Rodriguez, Joseph Beenn, Michael Beenn and many, many more; dear sister of Joe Vargas, Rose Beenn, Amy Garrison, and the late Evangeline Cedeno; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Angelina to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Angelina Rodriguez and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Angelina Rodriguez.
