Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use three (3) Occupation of Space(s) on the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 5800 S. Stony Island Ave
Said Occupation of Space(s) at S. Stony Island measure(s):
One (1) at seventy-one point two five (71.25) feet in length, and eight point three three (8.33) feet in width for a total of five hundred ninety-three point five one (593.51) square feet.
One (1) at ninety-six point two five (96.25) feet in length, and five (5) feet in width for a total of four hundred eighty-one point two five (481.25) square feet.
One (1) at twenty (20) feet in length, and five (5) feet in width for a total of one hundred (100) square feet.
Occupation of space shall consist of curb/cutter on the East & West side of South Stony Island Avenue.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development, Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development), and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1105423 herein granted the sum of one thousand two hundred forty-six ($1,246.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
