Quarterly Overview

IPPvA initiated 484 investigations during the second quarter of 2014. These numbers include 9 officer-involved shootings during the quarter as well. Taser discharges during the first quarter accounted for 111 investigations.
IPRA closed 583 investigations.between April and June of 2014. This represents a ten percent increase from the previous quarter in spite of IPRA's recent loss of positions to attrition. The recent reduction in staff includes a Supervising Investigator and two Intake Aides which leaves IPRA w...
