City Council January 15th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Thomas S Dimas has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 66 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Thomas S Dimas, Dearest son of Dorothy nee Kovac and the late Spiro; loving brother of Maria (Mel) Kusta, Diana (Dennis Wojtkiewicz) Dimas and Christina (Keith Shaffer) Dimas; cherished uncle of: Jeannine, Elizabeth, Anastasia, Laura and Emilia and many dear cousins; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Thomasto his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of January 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Thomas S Dimas and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Thomas S Dimas.
