RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, tilenn Velasquez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and /: ,
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Glenn Velasquez, loving husband and best friend of Kimberly (nee Catizone); beloved son of the late Celestino and Marie (nee Busch) Velasquez; dearest son in law of die late William and Mary Catizone; dearest brother of Sheila (the late Larry) Strictland, Kathleen (James) Richards and the late Sandra Busch; dear brother in law of Canny Catizone, Gina (Don) Hohmann, and Carmella Catizone; cherished uncle of Donny and Joey Hohmann; fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews; best buddy of Patches, Snoopy and Ranger; and
WHEREAS, Glenn was a U.S. Army Veteran and member ofthe NRA; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Glenn to his family
members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will
never forget; now, therefore . "'[:
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this sixteenth of December 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Glenn Velasquez and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
