RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Kathleen "Kelly" McLain has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 58 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen McLain proud and loving wife to Lynn Aderman. Loved daughter of the late Richard and the late Alfreda McLain, beloved sister of Cecelia, Richard, Wayne, the late Patrick, the late Walter, Anna and Mary. She was a wonderful Aunt to many nieces and nephews, fond sister in law to many and dear friend to many; and
WHEREAS, Kelly worked for the Chicago Park District as a landscape* for 18 years and took great pride in helping keep the lakefront beautiful for all to enjoy, She was born and raised in Bridgeport but was a country girl at heart who loved to travel down south with her family; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Kathleen to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Kathleen McLain and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
