WHEREAS, Belinda Walker, an outstanding employee and member of her community, retires from the of the Chicago Police Department after twenty-six years of dedicated service to this city; and

WHEREAS, Belinda served with dedication in unit 006 where she has been a valuable asset to the district and community she served. She is saluted for her years of service and dedication; and

WHEREAS, The Civilian employees have very essential job in the Chicago Police department and ensuring that the day to day operations are productive and efficient; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Lona Lane, Alderman of the 18^th Ward, has apprised this august body of Belinda Walker's significant milestone; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here in assembly this twenty sixth day of November, 2013 A.D., do hereby salute Belinda Walker for her many years of dedicated service to the Chicago Police department and extend our very best wishes for health, happiness, and success in any future endeavor.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Belinda Walker.
