RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Michele L. Turrise to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Michele L. Turrise Age 36 beloved wife of Richard Turrise Jr. (CPD) Loving mother of Nicolas and Jenna; cherished daughter of John (retired CPD) and Sandra Kolb, fond sister of Matthew Kolb. Proud granddaughter of Alyce Vujtech. A special daughter-in-law of Richard Sr. (retired CPD) and Patricia Turrise. Michele was an aunt, niece, cousin and sister-in-law to many, and friend to everyone. A companion to Lucy. Michele lived in the Chicago Garfield Ridge community her entire life. She attended St. Daniel the Prophet, Queen of Peace and the University of South Carolina, where she received her teaching degree. She went on to acquire 2 Masters degrees Michele's was a teacher in Blue Island II and was currently teaching in Elmhurst II at Lincoln and Field School. Michele loved volley ball and played on her school teams from 4th grade through college. Her true love was her children and family. Michele was outgoing, humorous, sincere, and caring. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She was high energy, positive, beautiful and she could light up a room. She gave unconditional love to family and friends. She will be sorely missed, but will forever be in our hearts and minds. Michele L. Turrise leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this thirtieth day of July, 2014, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michele L. Turrise and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Michele L. Turrise.
