RESOLUTION

Zalewski to her

WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Wanda S. eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Wanda S. Zalewski, nee Potempa, was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Zalewski. Cherished mother of Patricia Hisaw, Frank (Judy) Zalewski, former Alderman Michael R. (Millie) Zalewski. Adored by her grandchildren State Representative Michael J. (Carrie) Zalewski, Jason (Ariana) Hisaw, Jamie Zalewski (Michael Kulaga), Melinda (Jeremy Sikorski) Amanda Hisaw, Jodie (fiance Nick Bumbaris). Wanda was blessed with ten 'great-grandchildren Reese, Henry, Ella Mae, Cecila (Zalewski), Jacob, James, Joshua (Hisaw), JJ, Hunter, Taylor, (Sikorski). Dear sister to Chester (Peggy) Potempa and seven siblings that preceded her in death. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS; Wanda S. Zalewski leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty seventh day of January 2021, do; hereby express our sorrow on the death Wanda S. Zalewski and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy. I

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Wanda S. Zalewski.
