RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Vito Joseph Reyes Renteria has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 39 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Vito Joseph Reyes Renteria, age 39, of Chicago, passed away Dec. 5th. Loving son of Vito Renteria and the late Magdalena Perlowski, nee Reyes; beloved grandson of Rose (Elbe) Hensley and the late Juvenal and Josephine Renteria; cherished nephew of Marta (Kenneth) Alvarez, Edward (Reyna) Hensley, Liza Hensley, Alice Reyes, Frances (Fred) Prado and the late Richard Reyes; dearest cousin and friend of many; and
WHEREAS, Vito had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. His generosity was beyond kindness as his concern for the happiness of others was most important to him. He loved with all his heart. There is comfort to those left behind knowing he is back in the arms of his beloved mother and his devoted Zsa Zsa; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Vito to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Vito Joseph Reyes Renteria and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vito Joseph Reyes Renteria.
