RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called James J. Hayes Sr. to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, James J. Hayes Sr. 65, Vietnam War Air Force Veteran; cherished husband and best friend of Ann Marie (nee Galena), beloved father of James Jr. (fiancee Berenice Sanchez) and Kelly (Peter) Musial. Loving Papa and fishing buddy of Anthony, Nicolas and Gabriel. Fond nephew of Robert Szamocki, dear Godfather of Jaime Smith; son-in-law of the late Charles (Carol) Galena and the late Elizabeth Seef (nee Daley), brother-in-law of Charles Galena Jr., Cheryl (James) Robson, Geralynn (Larry) Smith and Mary Beth Prange. Son of the late Joseph and Rita (nee Szamocki) Hayes. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. James J. Hayes Sr. leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of March, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of James J. Hayes Sr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy be presented to the family of James J. Hayes Sr.
