MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR MARIE P. CARDUCCI
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Marie P. Carducci at the age of 71, on August 10, 2018; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born on August 26, 1946, Marie nee Biondi was the beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Carducci (Ret. CPD); loving mother of Phillip (Michelle) Vitellaro, Carmen "Tony" (Lisa) and the late Steven Carducci; cherished grandmother of Christopher and Nicholas Carducci; dear sister of the late Paula Doushou; fond aunt of Rebecca (Nicholas) Kimmerle and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marie leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Marie touched the lives of all who knew her through her unconditional love and vivacious spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and member of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth day of September, 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Marie P. Carducci and express to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marie P. Carducci as a token of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
