RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has William Gene Warren to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, William G. Warren, age 82 of Chicago, IL formerly of Linden, TN passed away peacefully on September 2, 2020. Beloved husband for 60 years to Roberta Warren (nee Gross). Devoted father of William and Diana. Devoted Grandpa of Nicholas, Alex, Aidan and Olivia; and

WHEREAS, William Gene Warren leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this seventh day of October, 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of William Gene Warren and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of William Gene Warren.
