CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO HEIDI WALTON ON RETIREMENT FROM
THE ELIOT HOUSE.
WHEREAS, Heidi Walton has retired after working the last twenty-two years as building manager for the Eliot House in Sandburg Village; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this special event by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Through Heidi's hard work, diligence, and dedication, the Eliot House has become a well-managed, secure and financially strong building, the premiere building in the Sandburg Village complex; and
WHEREAS, Heidi Walton has been a very valued manager and has consistently represented the highest level of professionalism. Her exemplary service, her tenaciousness and her attention to detail will certainly be missed.
WHEREAS, Heidi worked time and overtime to make the Eliot House the great location that it is. She has earned the respect not only of her colleagues and those working under her direction, but also of the grateful residents of the Eliot House; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this Twenty-Sixth day of November, 2013, do hereby express our gratitude and heartiest congratulations to Heidi Walton as she retires and we extend to this fine citizen our very best wishes for continued success and fulfillment; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Heidi Walton.
