RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Paul Gaggiano has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 69 to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Paul Gaggiano; beloved husband of Leslie nee Martin; loving father of Christopher (Lillian), Nicholas, MattheW (Jacqueline) and Angela Gaggiano; cherished grandfather of Colin, Abigail, Noelle and Charlotte; dear brother of Ann Marie (Bob) Alvir, Robert (Carola) and Mark (Denise) Gaggiano; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Paul to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on'the death of Paul Gaggiano and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Paul Gaggiano.
