SALUTE TQ VIPUL PATEL

WHEREAS, In June of 2013, Vipul Patel, an outstanding businessman and member of his community, was named the 2012 Dunkin' Donuts Franchisee of the Year; and

WHEREAS, Vipul Patel began his career with Dunkin' Donutes in 1979 when his father opened his first franchise. He assumed ownership when his father passed away in 2001. Mr. Patel now operates six Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the Chicago area; and

WHEREAS, The Dunkin' Donuts Franchisee of the Year award recognizes Vipul Patel as a top role model for the franchise's best practices; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert W. Fioretti, Alderman of the 2^nd Ward, has apprised this august body of Vipul Patel's award; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, assembled here this 24th Day of July, 2013 AD, do hereby salute Vipul Patel for his distinguished business career and extend our very best wishes for his continuing success in all future endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Vipul Patel.
