City Council July 21st, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lillian B Leporislias been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 91 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing ,by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Lillian.B Leporis nee Galeckas, Beloved wife of the late Samuel F. Leporis; loving mother of Kathy Cummings and the late Michael Leporis; devoted daughter of the late John and Veronica Galeckas; dear sister of Eleanor, the late Ann, Adeline and Helen; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Lillian to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of July 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Lillian B Leporis and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lillian B Leporis.
