RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Kevin Francis Seining |ias been called to eternal life by'the wisdom of God to his eternal reward: and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Francis Sehring, dearly beloved husband ofthe late Maryann Horan Seliring; cherished father of Kevin (Oorecn Cooper) Sehring, Joanne Gibson, Michael Sehring, Steven (Marshawn Booker) Sehring. Eileen (Eric) Ohta, Jean Sehring, David Sehring; proud grandfather of Shane (Dana) Gibson, Jessica Gibson, Amanda Gibson, Jillian Sehring and Jake Cooper; loving great-grandfather of Aislynn Gibson, Colin Brennan, Marissa DeSota, Molly DeSoto and Nicholas Cooper. Cherished bother-in-law to Jean Collins and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Dear friend of the late Joe Gorman, the late Larry and the late Mary Raddatz, and the late Thcrese McHale; and

WHEREAS, Kevin was a life-long resident of the South Side-Canaryville neighborhood and was a loyal parishioner of St. Gabriel Church, serving in the St. Gabriel Holy Name Society; Kevin started work as a cattle driver in the Union Stock Yards and advanced up to cattle buyer in later years; He was a life-long fan of 16 inch softball and played on many teams as a young man; Kevin was the manager the Canaryville Little League Red Sox team in the 1970s and early 1980s; He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed participating as a member ofthe Madonna Friday Night Bowling League; Kevin was excellent card player and enjoyed playing poker and pinochle with his friends; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Kevin to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
