City Council February 24th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Valerie McNease has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 48 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Valerie McNease, beloved wife of John Borrelli; devoted mother of Christopher Michael Borrelli; loving stepmother of John (Tera) Borrelli, Jr., Joseph (fiancee, Kristy) Borrelli, and Kayla Borrelli; dear grandmother of Jenna, Julia, Johnny, Joselyne, and Cora; dear aunt of Bob (Brittany) McKee, Jr.; great aunt of Kay lee and Bobby; preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Linda Grissom; and one sister, Lorraine McKee; and
WHEREAS, Valerie lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Valerie to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty fourth of February 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Valerie McNease and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Valerie McNease.
