RESOLUTION

to be adopted by The City Council

of the City of Chicago, Illinois

Honoring Prophetess Rona Mobley-Wells on her 24^th Years of Service

WHEREAS, Prophetess Rona Mobley-Wells is an influential spiritual leader in the Englewood Community through the Prophetess Rona Mobley-Wells Global Ministries;

WHEREAS, She also serves the community as a the founder of the Daughters of Israel and Women's Coalition program, which has reached 2000 women to help them pursue their passions and dreams through inspirational education;

WHEREAS, Prophetess Rona Mobley-Wells is the author of a book entitled, "God has a Plan for you, but, God will not Plan for you";

WHEREAS, Along with her husband, Van W. Wells, Rona helps feed hundreds of community residents every Friday with their food program,

WHEREAS, Her dedication to the ministry and the community is an inspiration to every life she touches;

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, assembled here this 24^th Day of 2013, 2013 AD, honor Prophetess Rona Mobley-Wells for her 24 years of service;
