RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Maria Rosa Savarino has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 97 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Maria Rosa Savarino; beloved wife of the late Filippo Savarino; dear mother of William (Josephine) and the late Anthony (Darlene); loving grandmother of Phil (Andrea), Jo< Biagio (Adriana), Roseann, and Anthony (Sarah); adored great grandmother of Emily, Billy, Gianna, Philip, Gabriela, Billy, Giuliana, Joey, Bella, Andrew, Alana, Vicente, and Ellianna; devoted daughter of the late Antonino and Giuseppa Arcuri; dear sister ofthe late Carmelo, Antonino and lgnazio; and ,
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Maria to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of December 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Maria Rosa Savarino and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Maria Rosa Savarino.
