CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO MR. JOSEPH DICIAULA ON ACHIEVING
RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT
WHEREAS, Joseph DiCiaula, outstanding young citizen of Chicago's northwest side, will be awarded scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, on May 17, 2015; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this great achievement by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Joseph DiCiaula, a member of Boy Scout Troop 969, has applied his energies and his talents to upholding the great standards and traditions of scouting; and
WHERES, Joseph DiCiaula lead and directed the construction of benches in memory of Eric Marder in the garden at Notre Dame High Schook in Niles, II.; and
WHEREAS, The earning of the rank of Eagle Scout is the pinnacle of scouting and is an honor earned through the scout's commitment and dedication which exemplifies a model citizen; and
WHEREAS, Joseph DiCiaula represents the highest values of youth in our great city of Chicago, in whom its leaders place so much hope and trust; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this fifteenth day of April, 2015 do hereby offer our heartiest congratulations to Joseph DiCiaula on having achieved the exalted rank of Eagle Scout and extend to this fine young man our best wishes for a bright, happy and prosperous future; and
