RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING THE LIFE OF LAWRENCE BROWN

WHEREAS, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom, has granted Lawrence Brown, eternal life; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Brown was born October 2, 1959 to Hazal and Hazel Brown. He professed his love in Christ at an early age and became a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He attended Lathrop Elementary, Hess Upper Grade Center and Farragut High School; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Brown leaves to cherish his memories: a loving father, Hazal; his daughter, Christine; two sisters, Marlyn and Alana Rose; seven brothers, Tyron, Vick, Barnabas, Jeffery and Mario Brown,        and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Deborah L. Graham, Alderman of the 29^th Ward, has informed this august body of the passing of Lawrence Brown; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the city of Chicago City Council, assembled here this 9^th day of February, 2011 A.D., do hereby express our sincere sorrow on the passing of Lawrence Brown and the extend our deepest condolence to his family, friends, and people whose lives he has touched.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Lawrence Graham.
