RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Beatrix Gutierrez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 81 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Beatriz Gutierrez, nee Barajas,Beloved wife of the late Heleodoro; loving mother of Efrain (Maria), Francisco (Sandra), Alicia, and Hector (Elizabeth) Gutierrez; cherished grandmother of Christina, Eric, Matthew, Ruby, Scarlett, Violet and Amelia; dearest sister of the late Carlos (Lupe) Barajas: fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Beatriz to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That wc, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty second of July 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Beatriz Gutierrez and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
