Resolution

Whereas, Harlee Sue Till will retire from her career on May 29, 2015; and

Whereas, The City Council has been notified of her retirement by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and

Whereas, Harlee Sue Till was a dedicated public servant by way of educating students with special needs in Chicago as a teacher for 22 years; and

Whereas, Harlee Sue Till instilled the love and enrichment of life through literature to young children as a literacy coach for 10 years, and

Whereas, Harlee Sue Till lead with integrity and leaves a great legacy as a principal (2007-2015) in the Chicago Public Schools, specifically, George B. Swift Elementary in Edgewater; and now therefore,

Be it resolved, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of June 5,2015, do hereby express our gratitude to Harlee Sue Till and extend our appreciation for her 38 years of service ; and

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Harlee Sue Till.
